Excellence, Achievement and Brilliance
"We must train the natural ability of the horse. Never forget that it is the brilliance of the horse, and the individuality of his own nature and personality that will make the horse spectacular......Not mechanically correct figures. Never change the nature of the horse,....rather try to enhance it. The properly trained horse should become more sound, more healthy and more beautiful,
If not the training is wrong"
Dr. Reiner Klimke

Founded in 1982, the PPWHA promotes the breeding, exhibition, protection and shared appreciation of the naturally gaited, flat shod Tennessee Walking horse.

The Pennsylvania Pleasure Walking Horse association wishes to welcome you to our organization and our new website.  The PPWHA takes pride in their horses and now , more than ever, several hundred, if not thousands of horse enthusiasts, as well as spectators, have become increasingly aware of the unique and natural talents this breed of horse has to offer.

PPWHA kicks off the 2008 Show season!

Its time to renew old acquaintances and cement new friendships, with the help of Jackie’s’ Applejack. Its time to bring out a new friend (2 or 4 legged) or just reconnect with an old friend.
